A Loving Appeal for the Decani Monastery Relief Fund

Beloved in Christ our Lord,
May our Gracious God always bless you!
Last year I helped to organize with the assistance on behalf of the Decani Monastery Relief Fund set up a Scholarship Fund for the youth of the region of Kosovo/Metohija and these students attend the Serbian University located in Northern Kosovo.
It was truly a great blessing that our fund was able to send close to 51 students to the University during the academic year 2009-2010 and the expense per-student is $900.00 per-year. This expense covers not only tuition, but also living expenses (three meals a day that they normally would not get if they where at their homes-as well as a warm room during the winter months) and books.
Our fund is now turning to you most earnestly can you please consider to sponsor a student from Kosovo to attend the University in Kosovo?
Being it's the end of the month of July our fund is greatly concerned that we have further assistance for these students to return back to the University this coming September. Without a doubt our fund is depleted at this time due to the economic crisis all of us are experiencing at this time.
Our fund as you know also has sponsored a student from Kosovo and we have a kind donor that offers half of the expense for this student to attend Boise State University named Lazar Popovic. Lazar will now attend his second year at BSU, and if you would like to help Lazar kindly send your donation to our fund.
